Born into a family that included sports enthusiasts, Tafts love for the sporting world began early in her life. Though she participated in a variety of sports throughout her schooling and college years however it wasn't until later that Taft made the decision to concentrate on broadcasting. Following her graduation with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University Taft embarked her career with Fox Sports North as a local affiliate and sideline reporter. In addition to covering sports, Taft worked as social media content contributors, and was also filling in for many games. Her job was then elevated into working for Fox Sports 1 as part of the News and Highlights team. Under FS1 Taft reported on numerous prestigious championships as well as reporting her findings in the air. When she was a reporter in the college sidelines football, she was elevated to the position of chief college football reporter, along with Gus Johnson. In 2018, she became popular after she was requested to be the moderator on the hit TV program Skip and Shannon Undisputed. It is still is the moderator today. Recently, she's been named the host of her show CFB Inside Slant.
