Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and the Hamburg congregation knew they could never go back. Ashley was just 17 years old and never had a boyfriend so they took it slow. But it was truly romance at first sight. Andrew was praying to God on New Year's Day, just prior to the start of 2016. Andrew requested God for one final blessing that year: that Ashley accept his proposal and be married. Ashley was keen to have an all-wooden wedding to symbolize Andrew as well as her. They put together everything that was essential to them. Ashley was born on 40 acres. Ashley and Andrew had enjoyed exploring, played, and hiked the whole trail leading to the location that they exchanged "I will" to Ashley. Andrew and Ashley had also walked this area several times since they began dating. As most of the decorations were made by the bride and groom it was essential to personalize the wedding. Andrew's father and Ashley as well as Ashley created the wedding ceremony arch and the the seating arch. Ashley made and painted several of the wedding decors.
